Buy America is new slogan of Obama

"Buy America" slogan given by Obama and his government while passing 789 billion dollar stimulus package for sinking industries in US is not only indicative of patriotism but it also reaffirms and strengthens the policy of BJP and give fresh energy to the Swadeshi Movement started by BJP and its sister concerns.

Besides this initiative and instruction of Americans will not only disturb the trade balance of many countries like India and China but also force all other nations whose business largely depended on export to US, to think over the pros and cons of policy economic liberalization, privatization and globalization.

Especially in India left parties who have been advocating restriction in policies of liberalization since long will have now powerful say in the Parliament to pull down UPA government.

All nations have different set of individuals, with different traditions and different set of priorities and hence the policy of globalization is set to have bad effects of the economy of each nation and collectively the global economy. And the most significant point is that in a country like India where more than 90% of population has got no access and no capacity to test the fruit of globalization, government is constrained to ponder over the utility and effectiveness of the policy of globalization and economic liberalization particularly when global slowdown has weakened the economy of most of the nations in the world

Indian Government has already burnt finger in case of Satyam, Global Trust Bank, stock market and many declared bankrupt companies and very soon will taste the sour fruits of policy of privatization in aviation, banking and other prominent industries where private sector have almost turned deaf ear to instructions and advices given by the government to cut prices and bring down interest rates. India has already been suffering from cancer of acute Unemployment and now retrenchment of employees from various companies has been adding fuel to fire.

I hope BJP will now put more emphasis on their slogan of Swadeshi and UPA in particularly divert their attention from globalization to economic protectionism or socialism, whatever the new terminology be adopted. Changes are needed and it is only a matter of time when our leaders will have courage to put change in action courageously like Obama who do no take care and do not bother what other nation think for him.
